Indian youngsters Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel are more than just national teammates as they also share the dressing room and team hotel for an extended period in the IPL as they play for the Rajasthan Royals.

As they head to Indore for the third ODI of the series, the two have been breaking the internet with some funny jokes. The incident was caught on camera as the Indian team was leaving after their final training session ahead of the series’ series-deciding match.

India started the series with a win in Vadodara but later failed to defend a relatively low total in Rajkot. If they are level at 1-1 in Indore, India, they would be keen to continue their unbeaten streak at this Holkar Stadium venue.

Yashasvi Jaiswal almost slaps Dhruv Jurel as the wicketkeeper teases the Mumbai boy

Indian youngsters Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel have got the internet talking as the two were seen bantering while leaving the factory in Indore after their final practice session ahead of the series decider.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, the left-handed batsman, was allegedly teased by his India and Rajasthan Royals teammate Dhruv Jurel over an issue that irked the Mumbai cricketer. He seemed worried as he almost punched his teammate.

However, Jurel’s reactions were enough to prove that the matter was clearly a funny joke between two fellow athletes, as Jurel dodged Jaiswal’s punch and had a wide smile on his face as he boarded the team bus next to his annoyed friend.

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel are both waiting for an opportunity in the series

However, both extremely talented youngsters, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel, are waiting for their first chance in the series with just one match remaining. None of these players are part of the Indian T20 squad against New Zealand or the ICC T20 World Cup squad.

While Yashasvi played the last ODI series against South Africa and also scored his maiden ODI century, Dhruv Jurel is yet to make his debut in the format. However, Jurel was picked as a replacement for Rishabh Pant after he was injured ahead of the first match against New Zealand.

Jurel scored big runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, his best season for the Uttar Pradesh team. With two hundred and four half-centuries in seven matches, he became an indispensable replacement and earned his place ahead of Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson.

Yashasvi Jaiswal will not return for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy

Jaiswal, the left-handed batsman from India, is reportedly not expected to be part of the second round of Ranji Trophy matches for Mumbai. The confirmation has been given by the Mumbai Cricket Association.

The 24-year-old will be unavailable for Mumbai for the remaining two matches in the second round of the Ranji Trophy. The last time he played a Ranji match for the Mumbai team was against Rajasthan ahead of the start of the ODI series against South Africa.

He had then scored 67 and 156 runs in the two innings of the match against Rajasthan. After the New Zealand series, he would next be seen in the IPL for the Rajasthan Royals.
