Andrew Tate will “make it like a show” at Misfits Mania, per MFB Title Challenger | BJPenn.com

Andrew Tate’s involvement with Misfits Boxing as both a promotional figurehead and an MFB fighter, with his return to the ring set for later this week, is generating plenty of discussion, including one of the fighters on Saturday’s card. The fighter in question is Tai Emery, who will fight Pearl Gonzalez for the vacant MFB middleweight title at Misfits Mania on December 20.

When the former BKFC title challenger was asked if she had any thoughts on the controversial Tate’s involvement with Misfits Boxing and the surrounding discourse surrounding it, Emery said [via Bowks Talking Bouts],

“I think it’s smart. PFL went with Ray Sefo, BKFC went with Conor McGregor and Misfits Boxing went with Andrew Tate. I think each of these characters is perfect for that promotion as that kind of face of the company. I also think where the new direction of Misfits goes and the evolution of the promotion, I think Andrew will be the one to take it there.”

“Isn’t he the most viral or most famous human being of our time, like in this day and age? I feel like that’s a fact. Chat GPT will clear it up for me later if I Google that. But yeah, he’s witty, he’s intelligent, he’s a great businessman. So when someone like him takes on a project like this, I think it brings in different eyes and attention just because he’s not someone who cares about anything.”

“I don’t think that guy has probably done anything he never wanted to do or anything that wouldn’t make him feel alive or bring anything of greater value. He’ll make it seem like I already know. Like this is going to be funny. I’m going to try not to lose control and [break into] laughter. It will be very, very interesting. I also think it’s a good thing if someone wants to boost boxers and athletes and bring attention to the sport.”

Andrew Tate’s confidence was touted as ‘obvious [Chase DeMoor’s] not a real boxer,” says Emery

Andrew Tate has more experience in the kickboxing and MMA world, but will fight under Queensberry rules against the Outsiders Boxing heavyweight defending champion Chase DeMoor for the gold.

When the MFB middleweight title challenger was asked about her thoughts on this Misfits Boxing heavyweight title clash with Tate vs. DeMoor, Emery stated [via Bowks Talking Bouts],

“Man, I get so one-sided and then I go completely the other way. Just because I saw it.” [the] size difference, but at the same time if you have someone in front of you and they have a kind of different energy about them, the mental aspect can completely affect someone. I think Andrew has an energy and a vibe about him that would be very difficult to be around.

“You know, trust can be deadly and that’s why I think it’s a pretty fair fight. I think it’ll be very interesting how it plays out. Either way, it’s not equal; it’s not a loss for either of them. It’s Andrew’s first fight in how many years back? Then the belt holder [Chase DeMoor]. He’s still young, so even if he has to lose, this is the biggest fight of his career. Win or lose, he just drew a lot of attention to himself and he still has a long way to go before he can bounce back from a loss to Andrew Tate.

“It’s absolutely clear that he’s not a real boxer. Just because he’s very unorthodox, I would say. You can see that he’s still learning and getting sharper. I think people would; let’s say he loses, then people could continue and see where he’s coming from with his striking. From now on, they can see him continue to evolve. So same for Andrew.”

“I think they’ve already put him on the card; two of the cards he’s headlining on have been labeled and I think the other one was Darren [Till] and who would headline next year’s proposed cards. So yeah, I think it’s going to be very exciting anyway.”
