Andrew Tate to fight for Misfits Boxing Heavyweight title, replacing KSI as CEO

Andrew Tate’s return to combat sports is a fact.

After months of speculation, ‘Cobra’ officially announced that he would enter the ring under the Misfits Boxing banner for a heavyweight title fight against Chase DeMoor on December 20.

But that’s just the beginning of the story.

Tate further revealed that not only does he compete for Misfits Boxing, but he is also the promotion’s new CEO, officially replacing KSI.

“Welcome to your new CEO, it wasn’t a hostile takeover, but it was certainly planned, and Mom (Taylor) and I are going to work together to finally place Misfits where it belongs on the world stage,” Tate said in an announcement video.

“The greatest disruptive force in the history of sports entertainment, so considering that someone who failed in his obligations to make this organization as great as it should be has been ousted and I’m the new CEO.”

The Christmas event in Dubai is expected to be Misfits Boxing’s biggest venture to date, leading many to believe the promotion will look to pack the card with some of the biggest names in influencer boxing.

That will likely include Darren Till, who was rumored to be fighting Tate at an MF event before the former kickboxing champion’s blockbuster announcement on social media.

DeMoor has been winners in eight of his last nine and recently fought to a draw against Efrain Carranza Gonzalez at an event in Tijuana. Before that, he had won eight in a row, including five straight finishes.

It will be Tate’s first professional fight in five years.
