Last Friday I looked like this, braved fall and went without socks. It actually worked, but I would like to buy a pair of thicker socks in a wool variety to wear with loafers and open shoes. I like it so much!
Pumping vintage from Stadsmissionen. Perfect heel and I love that the toe is made of velvet. Usually I think it’s hard to find nice vintage shoes, but I always scour the shoe department for pumps with a dachshund heel, I think it’s the best heel for everyday and it’s nice to break it up with a slightly sharper shoe.
Jeans I got one from Rodebjer from my sister, I have a pair from the past that I love. She had cut these off, so I opted to sew them to ankle length as I was missing these in the wardrobe.
Leather jacket from Beyond Retro. They always have a great selection of leather jackets.
Leohatten I bought not too long ago if anyone remembers the post when I had the vintage god on my site on the Stadsmissionen. Originally from NK.
Fendi baguette the bag from Vestiaire Collective.
Vest from the French brand Rodier from Sellpy and this is a tip for a very good vintage brand! They often have nice, more basic items such as sweaters and cardigans of good quality. This cardigan has such a cute shape, a bit of peplum and flared sleeves and a high collar.
Found even more nice information about Rodier for all vintage geeks!
Rodier was founded in 1852 in Picardy in northern France by Auguste Rodier, a weaver from a family of two generations. The brand became known for its fabrics, especially jersey and jersey, which were used by haute couture houses such as Paul Poiret, Coco Chanel and Christian Dior.
In 1954, the “Kasha” fabric type was introduced, a soft blend of merino wool and acrylic, washable and dimensionally stable, demonstrating their focus on comfort and quality.
1956 marked the entry into the prĆŖt-Ć -porter market, i.e. ready-to-wear clothing in larger volumes.
In 1966, the “twin set” (vest + matching sweater) became an iconic part of Rodier’s identity and popular among younger women in the 1960s.
