Head coach of Manchester United, Ruben Amorim, has told winger Alejandro Garnacho that he can come to a new club this summer.
The Argentina International seemed to be with his boss on a collision course after both he and his brother posted messages around the last defeat of Wednesday’s European League by Tottenham, when Garnacho was only introduced as a 71st minute replacement.
After the game, Garnacho said: “Until the final I played every round that the team helped, and today I play 20 minutes, I don’t know.
“The final will affect [my decision] But the entire season, the situation of the club. I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next. “
His brother Roberto faded the flames further after the game, and stated on social media: “Working like no one else, every round helping from two goals in the last two finals, just to stand on the field for 19 minutes and be thrown under the bus.”
As reported for the first time by athletics, Garnacho is now told by Amorim that he can leave.

Chelsea was almost a deal with the 20-year-old in January, but in the end it didn’t work out.
New Serie A champions Napoli also loved the attacker, who was born in Spain and came to United’s Academy of Atletico Madrid in October 2020.
Asked for Garnacho on Saturday, before the last Premier League match on Sunday of the season to Aston Villa, Amorim said: “I will speak to my players, but the focus is the last game.
“I don’t know what will happen, but we have a plan.
“We were prepared for both situations, with Champions League and without. We have an idea of the type of team we want, but we still have the last game. We have time to tackle all these situations.”
It is still to be seen whether Garnacho will be involved against Villa.
If the players’ class as’ own soil ‘under the Premier League profit and sustainability rules, his sale would create greater flexibility for Amorim, who is preparing to reduce the size of his team, since they have no European obligations next season, to make new signing sessions.
United is strongly connected to Wolves Vooruit Matheus Cunha, who has a release clause of £ 62.5 million in his contract.
Amorim has had an uncomfortable relationship with Garnacho.
He had only been to United for a month when he added the winger, together with Marcus Rashford, on December 15 for the victory in Manchester City.
Amorim said the decision was because of “training performances, game performance and involvement with teammates”.
In contrast to Rashford, Garnacho received an immediate recall. Yet he always seemed like an uncomfortable fit in the Amorim’s system because there is no room for an orthodox broad player.
Although Garnacho is the second highest score of United this season with 11 goals, he was omitted in Bilbao, because Amorim preferred Amad Diallo and Mason Mount in the advanced roles behind central striker Rasmus Hojlund.
