For the first time ever, U.S. brokers and teams are ranked by production down to the city level.
The 2025 RealTrends Verified City rankings reveal where top professionals in the real estate sector have the greatest impact, and how much productive power is concentrated in local markets across the country.
“The launch of our very first national City Rankings is an exciting milestone for RealTrends Verified. By ranking agents and teams nationally, by state and now by city, we give professionals the opportunity to showcase their success where it matters most: their local market,” said Caroline Scanlon, President of RealTrends Verified.
Collectively, the city’s 57,389 ranked agents and teams will close more than $1.32 trillion in volume and 2.1 million teams in 2024. Of these, 11,572 are newly ranked and not previously listed on the RealTrends Verified national rankings. The entire group represents 3,723 unique cities – a unique look at local performance on a national scale.
The City Ranking “also opens the door for emerging agents and teams to gain recognition, strengthening both their credibility and their local brand. This expansion reflects our commitment to celebrating agents and teams at every stage of their careers, from local recognition to national prominence,” said Scanlon.
RE/MAX, Keller Williams, LeadingRE And Coldwell banker tops the list of companies with the highest number of agents and teams in the city rankings.

Featured: New York City
It’s no surprise that the country’s largest market takes the top spot overall, but it’s Manhattan that does the heavy lifting. Across all boroughs, there were a total of 706 entries in NYC, totaling $31.55 billion in volume and 16,902 lots.
- Manhattan: $22.85 billion
- Brooklyn: $7.76 billion
- Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx round out the list – proof that New York’s real estate dominance extends far beyond the island.
Why it matters
For the first time, agents and teams can see how they score within their own city (where they are physically located) and how local markets compare nationally.
The RealTrends Verified City Rankings provide the clearest, most transparent picture yet of where U.S. real estate production is happening – and who’s driving it.
