Retired from the Octagon since June 2023, Amanda Nunes returns to action on January 24 to attempt to regain her title against her former training partner and current bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison in Las Vegas at UFC 324.Considered by many to be the GOAT of women’s MMA, Amanda knows she will be dealing with a very different Harrison from the times they trained with Top USA Team and therefore guarantees she has diligently dedicated herself to training over the past four months.
“It’s been two years since I retired and almost nothing has changed in the division. Pretty much only the champion has changed,” Nunes said in an interview with Evelyn Rodrigues.Nunes’ training routine and personal life were the subject of the third edition of “Acesso Exclusivo” (Exclusive Access), a mini-documentary posted last week on UFC Brazil’s YouTube channel.
In the video, Amanda talked about her personal life to her Brazilian fans. She showed off her house, showed off the wall where she keeps her eleven championship belts and even revealed during a family lunch – along with her wife Nina Nunes and daughters Reagan and Hazel – how she started dating her training partner at ATT and how their first kiss happened.

Amanda also opened the doors to her personal gym “Lioness Studio” and had part of her session with training partners Priscila Cachoeira and Larissa Pacheco filmed, as well as a meeting with Din Thomas, who has been responsible for breaking down her opponents since her fight with Miesha Tate at UFC 200.”Din analyzes her in detail.
