The Enshrinement of the Naismith Hall of Fame class 2025 has been removed about a month and the list of presenters has been announced in preparation for the event. There is no shortage of star power in the names that the nine members of the 2025 class will present with DWyane Wade, Allen Iverson, Geno Auriemma, Patrick Ewing and Swin Cash, among others.
Presenters are chosen from members who have already been chosen in the basketball Hall of Fame, and those who were subsequently chosen then honor the recipients during the enhrinement ceremony where they give speeches about those who are inaugurated.

What immediately strikes is the group of names that Howard chose to present him for his induction. He posted on social media on 10 April He would like Shaquille O’Neal, Kevin Garnett, Dennis Rodman, Hakeem Olajuwon and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as his presenters, although only Rodman is on the official list. O’Neal even agreed that he would do it, said “Of course, that’s my husband.” But now that the official list is out, it seems that O’Neal is not part of the presenters for Howard.
It is unclear what the mix is, but we will not see that O’Neal will share a dear memory of Howard during the ceremony that would certainly have been entertaining in view of their many, many years of public beef that have been crushed since then.
Elsewhere among the presenters, UConn -Coach Geno Auriemma will send two of his former players to the hall because he will present for both Sue Bird and Maya Moore. Swin Cash will also present both WNBA and College Basketball Legends, while playing and won a championship with Bird on the Seattle Storm, and was one of the players who grew up Moore and has since formed a close relationship.
The Naismith Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on September 6 in Springfield, Massachusetts, where the presenters will honor the recipients before they are anchored.
