The Race by betcha and the $600,000 TAB Trot will headline the Night Of Champions at Cambridge Raceway on April 10, 2026.
All 10 slots for the Race by betcha are now filled, with six places still available for the TAB Trot.
Last year’s slot holders got the first option with slots costing $60,000 plus GST for The Race by betcha, and $40,000 plus GST for The TAB Trot.
It will be the fifth edition of The Race, with Self Assured winning the first in 2022.

Although no horses have been linked to the slot holders yet, it is clear who some of the star acts are likely to be.
For example, Solid Earth Pty Ltd races defending champion Leap To Fame, Montana Park’s own 2023 winner Merlin, and Harnesslink’s owner is Mick Harvey, who owns reigning IRT New Zealand Trotting Cup champion Kingman.
Meanwhile, The TAB Trot, which was won last year by Australian visitor Arcee Phoenix, has had its deadline extended by a few days.
Organizers are confident that more slots will have been sold by the new closing day, which is next Tuesday, December 23.
