The schedule of Alexander Volkanovski in the Octagon may have ended in April.
Volkanovski conquered the UFC -Fedweight Championship a second time when he defeated Diego Lopes in the UFC 314 Main Event. Although many experts believed that Movsar Evloev was the most deserving competition, the name of Yair Rodriguez steam won before Noche UFC was moved to San Antonio.
Lerone Murphy came into battle in a great way after he hit Aaron Pico with a rotating elbow on UFC 319. Volkanovski was impressed and showed an interest in defending his gold against Murphy.
If that match is going to happen, it might have to wait until 2026. During an interview with Submission radioVolkanovski said the UFC might have big plans for his next outing.
“It’s hard, I thought it would be, but there might be a key,” said Volkanovski. “February in Sydney, is it February?” Said Volkanovski.

Murphy had two removed posts and it seems that he has a chip on his shoulder.
“I am not the key. I will fight against him tomorrow. I understand, I am a very risky last fight.
“They will now avoid me as the plague because they know that I have realized my potential.”
Murphy has collected a Pro MMA record from 17-0-1. He has defeated the will of Pico, Josh Emmett, then IgE and Edson Barboza. He is currently at the number 4 spot at the official rankings of featherweight.
