A vacation turns into a nightmare when a mother refuses to accept her daughter’s drug charges in Moscow and fights for her freedom.
Upcoming Israeli thriller series Unconditionalfrom co-creators Adam Bizanski (Make a cake) and Dana Idisis (On the spectrum) will premiere on Apple TV in May.
The 8-part series from Keshet International (Echo 3, Suspicion) follows a mother-daughter vacation that turns into a nightmare when 23-year-old Gali (Talia Lynne Ronn) is arrested in Moscow for drug smuggling. Her mother, Orna (Liraz Chamami), refuses to accept the accusations, but her fight for Gali’s freedom draws her into a deadly web of crime and corruption.
The ensemble cast includes French-Israeli singer-songwriter Amir Haddad (Beauty and the baker) alongside Yossi Marshek (Yellow peppers, manpower), Yevgenia Dodina (Invisible, virgins) and Vladimir Friedman (Bad boy).
“Unconditional” was written by Bizanski and directed by Johnathan Gurfinkle (“The Accursed”). The series is produced for Keshet 12 by Eitan Mansuri and Jonathan Doweck of Spiro Films (“No Men’s Land,” “When Heroes Fly”), who also executive produce alongside Bizanski, Idisis, Avi Nir of Keshet Media Group, Keren Shahar of Keshet International and Karni Ziv, Yuval Horowitz and Eze Sackson of Keshet 12. Keshet International is the international distributor of “Unconditional.”
First two episodes, then weekly on Friday, May 8 on Apple TV.
