Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The American Harness Drivers Club (AHDC) made a different donation of a charity during racing on Pocono Downs this time last weekend, this time to the Standard Bred Transition Alliance (Sta).
AHDC president Anthony Verruso led the presentation of a donation of $ 2,000 at the Sta during the Saturday afternoon (September 27) Card of Racing, with a division of the AHDC Trot. Pocono Downs Race Secretary Rick Kane accepted the donation on behalf of the Sta.
“We really enjoy supporting these great charities that help our industry,” said AHDC President Anthony Verruso. “We just love the competition, and we can’t do without these horses. They all deserve the opportunity to find new houses and racing such a ever ready, so we are happy to help with that. We are also incredibly appreciating Rick Kane and Sam Beegle [PHHA President] To give us room to race here on Pocono, as well as the crew in Harrah’s Philadelphia. Everywhere we go, we will ensure that we continue to support great goals. “
De Sta is an STUN profit -making organizations such as the Sta are supported by the AHDC because the participants of the club are racing with amateur licenses, which means that their five percent reduction in the wallet goes to various charity organizations instead of the driver.
