Revenue from power supply, which contributes significantly to total income, up 20% on an annual basis to Rs 2,776 crore. The segment’s EBITDA improved 19% year-on-year to Rs 2,543 crore.

“Strong power revenues, EBITDA and cash profit growth are primarily supported by robust greenfield capacity expansion of 5.5 GW, deployment of advanced renewable technologies, strong plant performance and commissioning of new capacity in resource-rich locations in Khavda, Gujarat and Rajasthan,” the company said in a filing.

The company added 2.4 GW of renewable energy capacity in the first half of the fiscal and says it is firmly on track to expand its capacity by 5 GW in FY26 and achieve its target capacity of 50 GW by 2030.

“We are making steady progress in our largest ongoing development of a 30 GW HE plant at Khavda in Gujarat,” said Ashish Khanna, CEO of Adani Green Energy.

During the half year, the company’s operating capacity stood at 16.7 GW, which remains the largest in India. Operating renewable energy capacity grew by a healthy 49% year-on-year to 16.7 GW, putting it on track to reach the 50 GW target. Greenfield additions in the past year amounted to 5.4 MW, including 4,200 MW of solar capacity, 491 MW of wind capacity in Khavda and 805 MW of hybrid solar-wind capacity in Khavda.

Energy sales increased 39% year-over-year during the quarter, driven by robust capacity additions and strong operating performance.

“We are consistently adopting innovative renewable technologies and digitalizing more and more aspects of our business to increase operational efficiency, project execution and safety,” Khanna added.

On Friday, Adani Green shares closed 1.1% lower at Rs 1,005 on NSE.
