The transfer window has been open for a few weeks now and there are a lot of transfer rumors about it CHELSEA and who they might acquire, but despite all the speculation, it was a pretty boring period for blues fans to witness.
There are more players leaving the club than entering, and with just a few days left of the transfer window the Blues are still working hard to sign a number of fringe players from the club before the deadline closes on Monday.
But there is already talk about the type of players Chelsea might want to sign at the end of the season, and there are a number of names already linked to the club that could excite many Blues fans.
WHAT’S THE LATEST WITH RAFAEL LEAO?
According to the Daily Mail CHELSEA are looking to strengthen on the left wing and the Portugal international has been mentioned as a potential option with a price tag of around £80m.
Leao is one of the most highly rated wingers in European football, with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal just three clubs who have kept a close eye on him in recent seasons.
The reports claim that Milan want to cash in on Leao at the end of the season to raise some money and refresh the squad so that he can really challenge for the Seria A title and the Champions League crown, and that £80 million would be spent on freshening up the squad.
CAN CHELSEA SIGN LEAO?
CHELSEA have been linked with Rafael Leao in recent seasons, they have even made some moves, but they have not been able to convince Milan to let one of the club’s star players leave, they have not been able to get a deal done.
If the rumors are true, if Milan want to sell, Chelsea have the money, the football history and the space for a player like Leao to come in and really conquer the Premier League, then the Blues could really be a tempting move for Leao to do that, that’s for sure.
