ABC Newcastle Mornings – Reporting Season Preview

I noted that although markets have been strong this year – led by banks and technology – investors will keep a close eye on or justify income this optimism. In the retail sector, the shifting of consumer behavior is clear, whereby expenses are re-calibrated to private label goods and fewer big ticket purchases, warning in the midst of the costs of living. We have also demonstrated how online sales are now dominating the retail strategy, while Bricks-and-Mortar still plays a role. It is important that I emphasized that this reporting season will test the credibility of business prospects more than the figures themselves.
