A wish list for Christmas 2025 – Travel Friday

A wish list for Christmas 2025 – Travel Friday

I hardly know what happened, but now it’s less than two weeks until Christmas Eve itself. Have I finished all the Christmas presents? Good. Some are definitely harder than others, but most of the time you can do it. As far as I’m concerned, I don’t have any must-haves on my wish list, but on the other hand, there are things I dream about. I like it Trendsenser-Frida’s reference to (dr) pain list and take into account this Friday five to write such a copy. This is what my version will look like before Christmas 2025!

A wish list for Christmas 2025

#1. A new pocket camera

How often is it reasonable to invest in a new camera? My newest one was purchased in 2018, so it’s almost time. This time I dream of a smaller, lighter and more flexible pocket version.

#2. A trip to Spitsbergen and/or a remote archipelago in Scotland

Road trip through Scotland

My wanderlust is quite satiated during the month of December, but I know in my heart that it usually comes to life just as the New Year’s fireworks die down. The trip to the Faroe Islands this summer was a treat – give me more remote islands thrown into the sea, thank you very much!

#3. AirPods

Annika Koh Lanta

I made do with wired and wired headphones for a long time, but now I’m even starting to realize that life would be a little smoother with a pair of AirPods. The last straw was yesterday when I went to iron my daughter’s Lucialinne and the headphones were quickly pulled out of her ears. As a result, I almost went down the stairs thanks to the trip cord. However, do you think the cost is so unreasonably high, does the price tag feel a little provocative? Come on, that must be Santa’s problem.

#4. A laundry room

If I could dream big now, I would never do laundry again…

…but instead hand in your dirty laundry at a laundrette (we are happy with that in Thailand). If I were to think in reasonable terms instead, I would be extremely happy with a laundry room. A well-functioning one! We live in a house without a laundry room (washer and dryer are next to each other in the bathroom) – which means the house is uniformly and perpetually cluttered with several piles of clothes and laundry racks.

#5. A course in something – cooking, crafts, needlework?

I think so This year’s Christmas gift 2025, or the adult toys is SO right on time according to the justification from HUI’s press release about the Christmas gift of the year:

“The toys for adults reflect our times because turbulence and economic uncertainty in the outside world create a need for play and escape from reality, something that toys and childhood nostalgia make possible”.

Also, give me one reason or a thousand to put the phone away so I can make something with my hands instead and let my thoughts wander through quick clips!

Yes. That was my wish list for Christmas 2025. What does yours look like if you are allowed to dream freely?
