A third of consumers turn to AI while shopping | Farmer

A third of consumers now regularly use AI platforms such as chatgpt, perplexity and claude during their store trip, according to a report from Cordial.

The report, “Brands fight for attention if AI defines the funnel again(Registration required) discovered that millennials (33%) and Gen Z (11%) lead in AI acceptance. But despite this growing consumer behavior, almost half of all brands (47%) maintain minimum or no AI agent presence, while only 7%extended AI optimization strategies have developed.

The report showed that marketers AI agents are strong in channel, even if brands do not keep track of. The Cordial report showed that 90% of the organizations are planning to increase their marketing channels over the next three years.

A possible roadblock for developing effective AI strategies is technological fragmentation. The report showed that organizations were juggling with more than five inseparable marketing applications, in which 60% pronounced low trust in their customer data.

In general, only 3% of the brands said that they have the opportunity to predict what customers actually want by using behavioral data in real time.

Since 33% of the organizations plans Martech Consolidation by 2028, the report predicts brands that synthesize their technological piles to deliver harmonious, AI-driven experiences, will do more than improve their relevance percentages. They separate from the sound makers.

The report is based on surveys of 1,000 American consumers and 30 marketing managers.
