Not a big fan of it Kieran Maguirebut still interesting to listen to him. He was recently interviewed by Leicester fan channel BTG. TCF has a different opinion. Leicester is far from the disaster description. I still believe this will be thrown out and turned around. Leicester is in a period of transition. This situation has been known to this football club for the past decades. Kieran Maguire is often used to deliver certain headlines, but his speech is vague and far from convincing. He gives us an insight into what is going on in general with PSR in PL and EFL.

When you see him making assumptions about Leicester and player contracts, it becomes difficult to take everything into account. We lack the insight to have a good and rational discussion about the current challenges of this football club. Listening to him was helpful. His answers are consistent with our thoughts on all these matters in general. But he lacks special knowledge about the Leicester affair. His answers do not provide the answers the interviewer is looking for.

We have previously suggested that what Leicester are currently doing follows PSR rules. Their actions are in line with the FFP guidelines. How they are preparing for their future looks good. However, bringing in quality players will be a challenge. This situation does not sit well with a certain group of fans. They want quality players, no PSR and FFP problems and to get their fairytale story back.

Kieran Maguire gives good and quality answers. He rationally explains that EFL and PL are not emotional. They make their judgments and punishments based on rules and regulations. They don’t go after certain clubs to take revenge for previous defeats.

We’ve previously explained why Leicester are in the situation they are in. We believe that there will be no point deductions, and if, Leicester will appeal. New changes in legislation and regulations will have no impact on the past. but being judged on terms when this actually happened. We also believe that a penalty will not be an issue with regard to their final position in the league.

Leicester took big risks and calculations to be part of the group chasing the Champions League. This became a tough challenge in the waning days of Brendan Rodgers, seeing him sacked. He had difficulty dealing with new challenges. He struggled to negotiate new deals and maintain a high profile in sales.

This is the key and the reason for all difficulties. Later, arranging transfers and contracts became a tough challenge, especially in the second relegation. Players were paid salaries reflective of a Champions League challenger.

Kieran Maguire throws cold water on the interviewers’ questions. He speaks from a general perspective. As a Brighton fan, Maguire has no emotional feelings for Leicester.

Kieran Maguire says much of the same thing we previously published on this website. He brings a balanced view to our fan base. They are loyal, something we see at away games where we are present Wrexham on Tuesday. I completely agree with Kieran Maguire. These fans will stay even if we are relegated to League One. We’ve been there before and it was still a great help.

He points out that the club will also receive parachute payments next season. He draws parallels with Luton and Sunderland. This comparison is a very good reflection.

Before listening to this interview, we knew that Kieran Maguire has no direct information about Leicester. He says he has no insight into a closed case with no leaks to bring to the table. And if he had, he wouldn’t be talking about it on a Leicester fan podcast.

Kieran Magurie has insight and knowledge and follows football finances closely. However, he can’t help with the answers some fans are looking for. The problem with these kinds of conversations is that they happen when things aren’t going well on the field. They will never be seen if you have a strike of two or more.

Nice to see that Leicester isn’t the hottest topic in the world when it comes to PSR and FFP. This could give us all hope for the future. As we all know, this shows that Leicester is not the special focus. It’s reassuring to know that Leicester has no enemies chasing it. No one has an emotional desire to tear down the club. Instead, EFL and PL should judge them on what they think is the misconduct, if at all.

Leicester are currently working hard to bring the club back into balance and build a strong future. This cannot be done in a quick fix because there are many contracts on the table and cannot be renegotiated.

We’ve said before that Leicester isn’t the best place on earth. To get players involved, even at Premier League level, you have to pay more. This neighborhood has no value for a foreign footballer. He can find many other places to live. That is why the club sometimes has difficulty attracting talent here. However, money is a factor in bringing in good players.

Kieran Maguire has made it perfectly clear, as we have also said. Leicester is a club that has to sell one of its top signings every season. This is of course to finance new transfers. Because the prices are paid for a good player and the wages on top of that, you have no chance without selling. A player who has left the academy is the diamond. This gives you 100% profit at no cost relative to its value. Each signing is the responsibility of the responsible manager. The DOF has no say in that. The manager tries to push through a deal and complete it in the best possible way. Some say it is the DOF’s decision, that is a lie. He can say no. He can say yes. However, he will never sign a player without the permission of the first-team manager.

Once again it was great to listen to. We got Maguire’s opinion and down-to-earth conversations about Leicester as a club. He also discussed the fan base and looked at the matter with neutral eyes.

As mentioned before, the fans of this football club should focus on supporting them. They have to stay behind the team. It is a waste of time to look for negativity and past problems. Focusing on these past problems is not productive. But if you like your whining and negative attitude, that’s your choice.
