Ahead of the start of the season, we looked at some rotation links for the first months of 2025/26.
Now that the festive run of fixtures is over, we thought we’d do the same in the weeks leading up to the March international break.
Here we are looking for two (or even three) clubs with fixtures that align well during the upcoming rounds of the Fantasy Premier League (FPL).
For example, this could be useful for Fantasy managers who have an ever-present Arsenal link Jurriën Hout (£6.3 million) and Gabriel Magalhaes (£6.7 million) and want to keep one spot open for a cheaper defender with a favorable competition. Or, further down the pitch, it could see at least one of the fifth midfielders/third strikers play an attractive game in any given week.
In this piece, we’ll focus on Gameweeks 22 through 30. After that point, we’ll likely get some blank and double gameweeks to shake things up.
HOW TO USE THE TICKER TO FIND ROTATION LINKS
We use our customizable Fixture sticker for this article, a tool that allows you to filter clubs by rotation, as well as other sortable options, such as match difficulty.
Chief Scouts can select any team from the match ticker and click ‘Sort by Rotation’, which will then sort the other 19 clubs based on how well their matches match up with the original team (as seen above).
BEST FPL FIXTURE ROTATIONS
A number of possible combinations are, in our view, not that relevant in FPL terms, given a club’s likelihood of scoring points on the road and/or in ‘tougher’ matches, as well as the price tags attached to the assets of certain teams (Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, for example).
But read on for some possible rotation combinations of more budget-friendly FPL players.
EVERTON + BOURNEMOUTH

We will first take a closer look at the potential rotation options at Everton and Bournemouth.
Gameweek 22 is a difficult match, because both teams are away from home, although you would expect Brighton (A) to be an easier match than Aston Villa (A). Things get a lot easier from there, as you can see in the Fixture Ticker screenshot above, with Gameweek 26 – when they play each other – the other main point of contention.
As for the players: the multi-match suspension of Michael Keane (£4.8m) throws a spanner in the works of what could otherwise have been a solid defensive rotation, here combined with a Mark Senesi (£4.8 million); although deploying one of these defensive contributions (DefCon) for the purpose of an attacking return in any match of course opens the door to potential FPL heartbreak.
James Tarkowski (£5.7m) is the obvious Keane replacement from the Toffees’ own ranks, although he is versatile Jake O’Brien (£4.9m) is another (cheaper) option. However, David Moyes could bring in a right-back this month, so watch that space.
We can’t make the case for an Everton striker, both due to the shape of the existing options and the fact that Moyes is also keen to recruit in that part of the pitch, but the budget-friendly Eli Kroupi Jr (£4.6m) could be about to get a game-time boost under Andoni Iraola.
Him, and even someone like Marcus Tavernier (£5.5m), could rotate with Everton’s cheap FPL all-round midfielder – and set-piece taker – James Garner (£5.1 million).
LEEDS UNITED + BOURNEMOUTH

The Cherries will be at the top of the fixture list between matchweeks 22 and 30, so naturally they will feature in a few of these combinations.
However, Leeds have a nicer looking game in Gameweek 23, after an arguably better Gameweek 22 fixture, before providing decent alternatives to the Bournemouth outfit in Gameweek 25 and 29.
The newly promoted side have offered budget options all season, with the reborn Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£6.0m) the most expensive of their assets in FPL. If you own DCL you probably wouldn’t want to bench him in any game at the moment, but the Whites midfield has Brenden Aaronson (£5.4m) – 10 attacking returns this season, six of which have come in the last seven games – plus DefCon earnings Anton Stach (£4.9 million).
There are few clean sheets for Daniel Farke’s men, but full-backs Gabriel Gudmundsson (£3.8m) is very cheap, while centre-backs Pascal Struijk (£4.3 million), Joe Rodon (£3.9 million) and Jaka Bijol (£3.9m) have all brought an attacking threat this season.
Struijk has earned DefCon points in five of his last six games, while Bijol has done so twice and also provided two assists in that time.
BOURNEMOUTH + FULHAM

Our final potential dance partner with Bournemouth (for now) is Fulham.
With the shape they – especially Harry Wilson (£5.9m) – if you’re in, you’d likely be supporting the Cottagers against both Leeds (A) and Brighton (H), ahead of the corresponding men’s Iraola matches in those early rounds.
That includes Gameweeks 25 (Everton v Aston Villa), 29 (West Ham v Brentford) and possibly 28 (Tottenham v Sunderland).
Like Calvert-Lewin, Wilson’s owners are unlikely to bench the Welshman in any match in current form, so who else could be rotated with the Bournemouth signings we mentioned earlier?
DefCon delivery person Joachim Andersen (£4.6m) is probably the standout choice here: he has collected defensive contribution points in a whopping 65% of his starts this season.
FULHAM + CRYSTAL PALACE
