The typical things that you will kick from ketosis (fat burning) are sugar and refined carbohydrates. It is all known that cough syrup, alcohol, beer and juice have hidden sugar that you can hit from ketosis.
These 7 are important things that you may not know.
1. Stress (cortisol)
Stress activates a hormone called cortisol. Cortisol is the most important adrenal hormone that the body adjusts to stress. Any type of stress – shock for the system, even surgery, trauma, allergies, even the loss of a loved one – can activate stress. Stress at work or relationship stress can hit you from ketosis.
2. Excessive amounts of caffeine
A cup of coffee is going to do nothing, but if you drink coffee or tea with caffeine all day, it is too much. Adrenaline can activate this, which can then activate insulin.
3. Bot broth (in large quantities)
A little bone broth will not be a problem. Bot broth in large quantities will hit you from ketosis because the protein can bump from ketosis. Don’t worry about bone broth, even if you get stuck, it can turn off a bit, but it is a very small amount, so don’t worry about that.
Wei -protein is one of the best proteins to avoid because it is little fat and high protein that will stimulate insulin and beat you out of ketosis. As far as L-Glutamine is concerned, people take that for the digestive system-leaking intestine, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)-the protein that you can hit from ketosis. It really helps with the digestive system. If you use it and test it and you are beaten out of ketosis, you don’t worry, it is only temporary.
4. MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) Hidden in many foods
MSG Monosodium Glutamate A different name for this is modified food starch. It is in so much food and it is easy to avoid when you are shopping, but it is very difficult to avoid when you go to restaurants because they have it in the sauces, connections and taste improvers. Peruvian chicken is loaded with MSG. Every fast food restaurant that tastes too good usually has MSG on it.
5. Artificial sweeteners (aspartame, splenda, saccharin)
Splenda has Dextran and Maltodextrin that you will know from Ketose. These artificial sweeteners can increase insulin and beat you out of ketosis.
6. Excess protein (most people need 3-6 oz. Per meal)
The ideal sweet spot for most people is between three and six grams per meal. If you do intermittent fasting and have two meals or one meal a day and you keep your calories higher, you may get away with eight our protein per meal.
It is important to know that if you combine sugar with proteins, your insulin will largely spine, so that is even worse than excessive proteins.
7. Too many keto desserts (excessive xylitol)
You can have one or two, but not a whole group. If you can’t stop after two, don’t make them because you have sugar alcohols such as Mannitol, Maltitol, Xylitol or Erythritol in the keto desserts. Erythritol has a glycemic index of zero, Stevia has a glycemic index of zero, Xylitoll has a little higher glycemic index, Mannitol and Maltitol has a higher glycemic index. It is much less than sugar, but it can still influence a little. You can consume xylitol in very small amounts. Do not do the enormous amounts of these keto bommen, those small cookies that you can really beat from ketosis. Only because it says that the keto is -friendly, does not always mean that it is -friendly in large quantities of keto.
