If you think about Vancouver Canucks Legends, names such as Pavel Bure, Richard Brodeur, Stan Smyl or Trevor Linden will probably come up in me first. But there is a man behind the scenes who is not mentioned enough: Fred J. Hume. He was not a star player who illuminates the scoreboard, but without him Vancouver -hockey – and the canucks as we know them – look very different.
