Rapper Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson increases his internet run with rapper Jones by releasing embarrassing video footage.
The “Many Men” rapper posted a video of Jones allegedly trying to break down the door of his “Let’s Rap About It” podcast studio. According to Jackson, Jones was reportedly ejected from space. Furthermore, he states that if the two feuding peers “were friends,” he would still have access to the room.
He continued his taunt by claiming that he is and will remain a co-owner of the property seek compensation for damage. To add insult to injury, an alleged lease termination letter addressed to Jones was added to 50 Cent’s slide carousel.
“Sam is my partner, I own the joint, now you’re going to fix every door you kick in or I’m going to kick your ass, Jimmy,” he said. Complex.
Jim Jones has not issued an official statement confirming or denying the claims referenced in 50 Cent’s post.
The feud between the two rappers has played out publicly in recent months through online posts and commentary. 50 Cent’s latest post continues a pattern of social media back and forth between Jones, 49, and Jackson, 50.
The renewed tension between 50 Cent and Jones also comes as Jim Jones’ name resurfaces in a separate lyrical dispute. In his review of Clipse’s upcoming project “Let God sort them out,” Consequence reported that verse by Pusha T about “Chains and whips,” of Kendrick Lamar, it was “confirmed to be about Jim Jones from Harlem.”
IIn the song, Terrence Thornton, known as Pusha T, hints that Jones is out of money. Pusha claims that Jones flees “out of the spirit of confiscation” and that his jewelry is fake because “too much enamel covers your chain”
Thornton also takes shots at Jones’ foray into reality TV with his appearance on Love & Hip Hop in the twilight of his rap career.
In the verse, Pusha T raps, “I see how your fame escapes relevance / We’re all in the room, but here’s the elephant / You’re chasing a feature out of your element.”
Although Jones has not publicly responded to the lyrics referenced in the review, the mention adds another layer to the ongoing friction that has circulated between several prominent rappers in recent years.
