Celebrated Indian skipper Mrs. DonaThe iconic bat of the World Cup final of 2011 earned a place in history books, not only for the winning six, but also for the record price that it made at an auction. Used by Dhoni to seal the victory of India over Sri Lanka in the Wankhede Stadium of Mumbai, the bat labeled by Reebok was sold for 100,000 pounds (around Inr 1 Crore) during the ‘East meets West’ Charity Dinner in London on July 18, 2011.

The bat was purchased by RK Global Shares & Securities LTD, and the sale was later recognized by Guinness World Records as the most expensive Cricketbat. The proceeds from the auction went to the Sakshi Foundation, which supports disadvantaged children in India.
