The San Francisco 49ers have secured another Cornerstone player, so that their third major contract extension is completed this season outside season.
Star -Linebacker Fred Warner is the last to cement his future with the team in a deal that strengthens its elitestatus.
Although they have been talking about his current contract for another two years, Warner and the San Francisco 49ers agree with an extension of three years worth $ 63 million, with $ 56 million guaranteed.
This new agreement not only rewards its performance, but establishes a new market standard.

This lucrative deal, on average $ 21 million a year, pushes Warner for the previous top earners in the position: Roquan Smith from Baltimore Ravens for $ 20 million, Chicago Bears ‘Tremaine Edmunds for $ 18 million, and Philadelphia Eagles’ Zack Baun for $ 17 million.
For Warner, this marks the second contract extension that has brought his talents well -deserved recognition.
