In 2024-25, the Boston Bruins may not be done with the team record they wanted, but they did get some contributions up and down on the line-up. Some were from players they expected, namely David Pastrnak, and some were from others they did not expect, such as defender Mason Lohrei.
Some teams have multi-year All-Stars, such as the Edmonton Oilers doing with Connor McDavid or the Toronto Maple Leafs with Auston Matthews. Sometimes a team has an All-Star Caliber player, but they don’t get recognition such as McDavid or Matthews. These players are individuals such as Tage Thompson from the Buffalo Sabres or Jared McCann from the Seattle Kraken, who value their teams, but cannot wear their team themselves.
After the Abysmal finish of the Bruins, they will be looking to return to their winning ways and return to the play -offs. This season, however, a village will assume, not just an individual effort, to do the play -offs. These are the three players who must be successful in the 2025-26 season for Boston.
3. Jeremy Swayman – goalkeeper
In every team, the goalkeeper is of course a position that must be successful, but after the Bruins and Jeremy Swayman had signed for one eight years of contract before last seasonIt is especially wise for the fifth-year keeper to prove his courage in the 2025-26 season.
In the 2024-25 season, the product of the University of Maine started in 58 of 82 games and ended with a record of 22-29-7. Swayman also had a career-striking goals against average (GAA) of 3.11 and a career-bear savings percentage of .892. To be honest, he was confronted with more shots than he had in his NHL career and tied a career high in Shutouts with four, but it is safe to say that he did not realize the $ 8.25 million that Boston paid him.
De Bruins will be looking for a better season of him, especially if the young emerging network makes Michael Dipietro the team. If Dipietro makes the team and plays well as a backup, Boston can look for trading partners who would be willing to take at least a part of Swayman’s contract.
2. Elias Lindholm – Vooruit
When De Bruins first signed Elias Lindholm with a Giant contract at the beginning of 2024 Free AgencyEveryone was excited. They had finally received their first -line center. Then the results came.
Lindholm was a sustainable player for Boston in his first season and played in all 82 games, but the figures were not much better than his last full season with the Calgary Flames and his last season combined between the Flames and the Vancouver Canucks. He only scored 17 goals and moved out 30 assists. Good numbers, but certainly not from upper songs.

That does not mean that his season was all bad; It is normal to be successful this season, to be successful the Bruins, Lindholm has to put together more consistent figures.
During the season he put together a number of pieces where he would have points in two, three and sometimes even four games in a row. On the other hand, however, he also went through pieces of the same number of games where he did not record anything on the score sheet, whether it was points or even a positive plus/min.
1. Morgan Geekie – Vooruit
Now I know what you think: why is this man here? He set career-high songs. Well, it’s true, but it is on the list because, although Pastrnak is the definition of a target scorer, he cannot wear the load alone. Morgan Geekie will have to stand by his side again this season.
In a season in which Geekie played in more matches than he ever (77), and scores more goals and scores more assists (33 and 24), Geekie will have to be an integral part of the attack in the 2025-26 season if Boston wants to place the 2024-25 season in the Achterste View Spiegel.
After Sign an extension of six years In the low season he will certainly be a fixture of the Bruins’ attack for years. Geekie should have the motivation to build on that this season is going on.
If Boston is successful, it will take a village
Nobody in the organization is happy with how Boston ended last season. Maybe the Bruins were too top heavy, maybe they didn’t have the depth they needed, or maybe injuries just got the best of it.
Regardless of the reasoning, Boston knows that it cannot just be one player who picks up the play this season to be successful. It will take coherence, and all parts that work together on the common goal – making the play -offs and being able to get the first, if not the second, round.
