The second round of the 2026 Cognizant Classic in Palm Beaches begins Friday, February 27 at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Full Cognizant Classic start times for Friday’s second round can be found at the bottom of this post.
Recommended start time for round 2
The Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches got off to a hot start in the opening round. PGA Tour professionals, along with many players, took advantage of the easier course conditions that PGA National has presented in recent years going low over their first 18 holes. Austin Smotherman took the lead early with an impressive nine-under 62.
But it’s still very early, and with birdie opportunities everywhere, stars like Brooks Koepka, Will Zalatoris, Shane Lowry and Max Homa have plenty of time to catch the leaders, starting with Friday’s second round.
Players who started on the 1st tee for Round 1 will switch to a 10th Tee start for Round 2.
Koepka, who teed off in the opening round in the afternoon wave, will get an early start for the second round at 7:33 a.m. ET. He will look to survive and play the weekend after missing the cut in his last start at the WM Phoenix Open.
You can watch Friday’s second round of the 2026 Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM ET on Golf Channel. PGA Tour live on ESPN+ will provide exclusive early streaming coverage starting at 6:45 a.m. ET on Friday, in addition to featured group and featured hole coverage.
