The Tour Championship 2025, the final of the FedEx Cup -Play -Ooffs, starts this week in East Lake in Atlanta. How to view a Tour Championship
After a long season that started in January, we have reached the last PGA Tour Tournament of the Year (at least to the Fedex Cup Fall series). That also means that it is the last time that we will see the best Tour professionals in the same event until the Ryder Cup 2025 at the end of September.
None of those professionals is better than Scottie Scheffler. The world no. 1 missed the start of the season because of a freak injury, but once he returned, he quickly started and began to dominate.
Scheffler won five times on his way to the Tour Championship, including last week’s BMW championship. He has already been raced in two large titles and many millions in Fedex Cup bonus money in 2025. But Scheffler’s success so far will not have an impact on the outcome this week. In contrast to last year’s Tour Championship when Scheffler started at 10 years, players received no starting regions based on Fedex Cup position to East Lake this year.
Instead, Scheffler even starts with par, just like the rest of the field of 30 players, and it will be a four-round free for the Fedex Cup title.
That means everyone in the field – including Rory Mcilroy, Justin Thomas, Tommy Fleetwood, Justin Rose and Even Akshay Bhatia in 30th place – could steal the cup from Scheffler’s grip with a great week. If Scheffler can prevail for the sixth time this season, he will win his second consecutive Fedex Cup title.
NBC and Golf Channel offer TV coverage of the Tour Championship 2025, while PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ Will wear the primary streaming coverage online. Peacock Will have extra streaming coverage during the weekend, including simulcasts from NBC’s TV broadcasts.
