In the Co-Main Event, Moldovies Alexandr Romanov (19-4) and those of Russia Oleg Popov (22-2) The distance went into a debilitating five-round battle. Popov struck early, checked the center and attacked Romanov’s legs, while Romanov answered with Clinch prints and knees in the middle rounds to wear it out. Momentum shifted back and forth, Romanov is grinding in the clinch, Popov gathered with late combinations, but after 25 hard-fought minutes the Popov judges brought a victory in a split decision to claim the tournament title.
The main map was opened with a light heavyweight collision between Sullivan Cauley (8-2) and former PFL champion Antonio Carlos Jr. (19-6). Both men exchanged heavy right hands in the first, each scored knockdowns in a wild round. Cauley started strong again in the second, but after a cut and an eye break the tide turned. Carlos Jr. Capitalized a capital letter with a Takedown and locked up in a second -one choke, achieving the entry victory, the World Tournament Crown and a prize of $ 500,000.
