Each matchup consists of three games, two singles and one alternative shot competition. Each of those competitions has 1 point. The team to reach 2 points first progresses to the next round.

The six teams that do not win their matchups on Friday see their LIV seasons from 2025. The six winning teams will be under three matchups under a similar size on Saturday.
Bryson Deschambeau and his Crushers GC team are the number 2 seed. They will come across Majesticks GC on Friday. The number 1 seed, Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII, will compete against Cleeks GC in round 1. Sergio Garcia’s Fireballs GC will compete against the Hyflyers GC team of Phil Mickelson.
