The 2025 Grant Thornton Invitational may not be an official Tour event, but the millions of dollars in the Grant Thornton Invitational purse are very real. The stars of the field from the PGA Tour and LPGA Tour will play for big money on Sunday.
The total for this week’s mixed team event is $4 million. That money is obviously not evenly distributed among the 16 teams playing the tournament.
The victorious team will walk away with a winner’s share of $1 million, split evenly between them. But every team gets paid something for their troubles, regardless of their scores. For example, the people who finish last will earn $120,000 to share.
In Sunday’s final round at Tiburon Golf Club, Nelly Korda and Denny McCarthy will attempt to make a big comeback to capture the title. Meanwhile, 54-hole leaders Lauren Coughlin and Andrew Novak look to hold on for the win.
