The 2025 American Tennis Association (ATA) National Championships were held on the USTA National Campus from 28 July to 3 August and hundreds of athletes from all over North America and the Caribbean were drawn.
This historical event again showed the remarkable talent and diversity within the tennis community, and confirmed the legacy of the ATA as a fundamental power in sport since 1916.
As one of the oldest and most influential tennis organizations in the United States, the ATA has served as a productive pipeline for some of the greatest players, coaches and contributors in tennis history. Since the first national championships in 1917, the tournament has grown from only three events to five major divisions on junior, adult and senior competition.
Usta Florida proudly emphasizes the excellent versions of athletes from the Sunshine State. This year, Florida produced 21 winners, including 6 Doubles champions and 30 finalists, with 11 of those from Doublescompetition.
Before the competition, USTA Florida also served as the presenting sponsor of the ATA Awards Galaheld on July 27 in the Rollins College rice pavilion. The Gala Eerde Tennis -Prailblazers, including Stacey Allaster, Jarmere and Jermaine Jenkins and Illona Young, and paid tribute to the legacy of Althea Gibson.

As both organizations continue to work to make tennis more accessible and inclusive, the ATA National Championships remain a powerful memory of the ability of the sport to inspire many. Let’s look at the results and highlights of this year’s tournament.
