2025-27 Dise Cohort announced – Table Tennis England

A new Dise cohort was selected for 2025-27 after an open application process with five extra places that take the total number in the team in the team from 10 to 15.

Also new for this year, the intake will have the opportunity to get a coaching qualification, while combining their studies with high -quality table tennis training.

Those who have been selected for Dise (diploma in Sporting Excellence) includes Max Radiven, Ella Pashley and Sienna Jetha, all of whom participated in England on European Youth Championships this summer, as well as twin brothers Hugo and Leo Nguyen.

The full list is: Prayrit Ahulawia, Naomi Coker, Eva Eccles, Alexander Graham, Will Hopkins, Sienna Jetha, Hugo Nguyen, Leo Nguyen, Millie Noble, Ella Pashley, Max Radiven, Phillip SRNEL, Sebastian, Sebastian.

Dise Lead and Talent Pathows Stect Coach Natalie Green said that the increase in the number was due to extra investments by Sportsaid, which manages the DISP program in various national sports organizations on behalf of Sport England.

She said: “This is a good step for table tennis England and the players within his path, because it enables us to broaden the basis of athletes that can be part of the system.

“This year there was a lot of interest from around 30 applicants, which was brilliant to see for us. It has shown us that the DIS program has been recognized in recent years and fully embedded within the Table Tennis England Pathway and players recognize the benefits it can provide for their constant development, both and outside the table.

“This year the program continued to evolve with the athletes who all have the opportunity to get a coaching qualification, as well as receiving expert advice from a variety of practitioners, including nutritionists, lifestyle advisers and British anti-doping leads.”

What is Dise?

Dise (Diploma in Sporting Excellence) is a specialized qualification for students who get the chance to demonstrate and develop their ability to meet the requirements of a powerful sports artist.

Dise wants to support young athletes in the talent system to combine sports and education, so that they have the skills, knowledge and competence to pursue sporting excellence, in addition to developing skills and qualifications for a career after sport.

Dise offers an extensive syllabus to support young athletes to get an extra qualification and to reach their full potential within the NGB talent path and their future career.
Sportsaid, which manages Dise on behalf of Sport England, is a charity that currently also manages the Talented Athletebeurs Plan (TASS), backing the best program and the Core Sportsaid Award program, all supporting young top class athletes.
