Batavia, NY – The final night of harness racing for 2025 at Batavia Downs is this Saturday (December 20) and the track is going out with a bang as they are offering two carryover pools with huge guarantees and mandatory payouts for both, and which will be featured in the first and last races of the evening.
After the race concludes on Wednesday (December 17) without anyone placing these bets, there will be a carryover of $1,312 in the Pick-5 bet in the first race and a carryover of $2,004 in the Jackpot Super Hi-5 pentafecta in the 15th race next Saturday. Batavia Downs management has announced that both pools will be guaranteed at $10,000 each, with a mandatory payout due to the year-end cut-off day.
These guarantees are made in conjunction with the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program and as such, the complete past performance forms can be downloaded for free (where available) for all races involved in both wagers from the USTA website (ustrotting.com) under the Disabilities tab.
The Pick-5 at Batavia Downs has a minimum bet of 50 cents starting in race one and running through race five, and the Jackpot Super Hi-5 pentafecta is a minimum bet of 20 cents in race 15.

There will also be a range of activities on Saturday evening during Fan Appreciation Night with something for everyone, regardless of age.
Promotions include $2 betting vouchers on a first-come, first-served basis (first 100 customers) and $1 on-site programs. Fans also have a chance to win various prizes by spinning the Batavia Downs prize wheel. Before the races there is also a meet & greet with the drivers, where you can take photos and get autographs.
For the children there will be a special Grinch versus Elf showdown on the track and afterwards they can visit Santa Claus in his special Finish Line Suite in the stands.
And after the last race, the end-of-year prizes are awarded along the circuit.
It all starts at 4pm with the first post time at 5pm
