12.12 Friday Favorites – The Fitnessista

2 minutes, 20 seconds Read

Hello friends! Happy Friday! How was the week? It’s been a great experience here, but it always amazes me how quickly December flies by. I can’t believe it’s less than two weeks until Christmas and even though I’ve checked most of my list, there’s still a lot to do.

In between everything we try to make time for holly fun: an evening in Winterhaven, our annual Christmas with the Princess Trip, baking cookies and watching holiday films. I’m curious what you will do this weekend! P has basketball, we see Zootopia 2 with friends and having a party. I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead!

(LOVE this book! It’s light, fun and festive)

For now, it’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. Here I share some of my favorite finds of the week and around the web. I always love hearing about your favorites too, so please shout out something you like in the comments below.

Read, watch, listen:

Michael Bublé during the concert with the poor in the Vatican. This is my work soundtrack all week!

Last of Vivrelle! GINAHARNEY gives you the first month free.

I got these advent calendars at Target for the girls. They’re cookie dough gelato bites! (No added gluten, but they do contain oats)

No favorite… Moulin Rouge. I was so excited to go last weekend and ended up leaving during the break. It’s one of my favorite movies, but the story didn’t translate well into the musical. The book was… not good… and they also added more current songs into the mix. The whole show felt like slapstick to me, and I forgot my jacket in the car and was freezing, so I quit. The only other show I’ve ever left on hiatus is Cats, that says a lot lol.

Happiness tips for busy friends.

Shopping, health and good food:

These nice clogs. I had been seeing the Birkenstock shoes for a while but didn’t know if I could pull them off since I wore the exact same shoe in 5th grade. I remembered how comfortable they were and that they went with any denim outfit, so I bought a cheaper pair at Target. Liv was immediately obsessed with them, so I ordered some for her too.

Lots of Farm Rio this week!

This sweater

And this dress.

(boots are here)

I have the dress during their Black Friday sale and the sweater is from Rent the runway…but I’m tempted to keep it. 😉

Also have this Favorite Daughter sweater from RTR <— via this link you get a 60% discount on your first month:

This Japanese BBQ sauce is everything. I used it in it this recipe last night and it was a 12/10, but I just enjoyed the drizzle on meat and veggies this week.
