By definition, cruisers are leisure vehicles, and not necessarily always the most practical way to make ends meet. However, there are some really versatile bikes on the market that are just at home on the highway, and within the boundaries of the city boundaries that navigate due to urban proliferation. With emission restrictions that are becoming tighter, most new motorcycles are quite economic, so that is almost a fact unless you intend to add a large number of performance modifications. We assume that this will not be the case here.
The only thing that every practical motorcycle needs is a passenger seat, and although most solo-zit cruisers will have this on the option list, which only serves to increase the price. All bicycles on this list are relatively economic, powerful enough to be able to handle persistent highway speeds, agile enough for the city and for the most part affordable.
To give you the most up-to-date and accurate information, the data used to collect this article from authoritative sources, such as Kawasaki USA, Harley-Davidson, and Keeway America. The motorcycles on this list are assessed according to MSRP.
Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster
MSRP: $ 13,995
Of all practical cruisers on this list, the Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster is the one who both extends the “affordable” part the most, but is also the most travel -friendly. Like most new Triumph engine bikes, it offers a level of refinement that certainly justifies the extra edition. For those who want to do more highway, or contain a living traffic with a long highway tint, this is a good option.

Harley-Davidson Nightster Special
MSRP: $ 12,499
A recent price decrease saw the basic model evening star under the $ 10 marking, which is a bargain, but in many ways the special offers even more value. It gets a neat headlight plamp, different wheels and a TFT dashboard with smartphone connectivity. Just like the basic model, it has both ABS and Traction Control to join its modern (and economic) liquid-cooled revolution Max V-twin.

Kawasaki Vulcan 900 custom
MSRP: $ 9,899
Kawasaki offers the 900 in three different flavors, and we have chosen the habit, simply because we think it is the best looking of the three. If you prefer chrome vibes, the classic is rather strange. If you want to travel more, the classic LT is a great little dredger with a budget. It is not the lightest, most city -friendly cruiser on this list, but does an excellent job in any other area.

Suzuki Boulevard C50
MSRP: $ 9,299
The C50 is in any case an aging platform. It still has the typical chrome-clad metric cruiser design that was so much in vogue in the late 90s and early 2000s. What it gives us is an affordable, economic V-twin that has been in production for a long time. Although this offers a good price on just over $ 9K, it is worth looking at the used market, because the bike has not changed much over the years.

Displacement | 805cc |
Maximum torque | 52 LB-FT |
Transfer | 5-speed gearbox |

Honda Shadow Aero ABS
MSRP: $ 8,249
Of all chrome-heavy metric cruisers in this space, this would be our choice. Although it has not changed that much over the years, you do get a level of highway capacities, ABS brakes for city functions and the build quality of Honda. All these aging V-twins are a bit dated in terms of functions, but they offer a lot of value for those who love this design theme and want a little less complicated.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650
MSRP: $ 7,899
If you are willing to consider something with a parallel twins instead of a V-twin, this is the most balanced option. It has more than enough power to maintain highway speeds, offers a comfortable chair for the rider and is a fairly competent commuter. Since it came out, it has also proved exceptionally reliable. Unfortunately, the price has risen this year, but if you act quickly, there are still a few 2024 models that sell for the original asking price of $ 7K.

Engine type | Parallel-twin, air-cooled |
Displacement | 648cc |
Maximum torque | 39 LB-FT |
Transfer | 6-speed gearbox |
Weight | 530 pounds |
Kawasaki Eliminator ABS
MSRP: $ 6,799
With the smaller, lighter bikes, comfort tends to suffer a bit, but with the eliminator it is sent by Kawasaki’s Ergo-Fit system to a certain extent, because most riders will find a comfortable riding position. The Ninja 500 engine makes this a deceptively fast bike, and as much as it is a beginner-friendly option, everyone who is looking for a nice commuter has to take it at least for a test drive.
Specifications
Engine type | Parallel-twin, liquid cooled |
Displacement | 451cc |
Maximum torque | 32 LB-FT |
Transfer | 6-speed gearbox |
Weight | 386 pounds |
Benda Chinchilla 500
MSRP: $ 5,999
Benda may seem like a fairly random name that has been picked from the darkness, but this is not one of the Fly-By-Night Chinese manufacturers. It is part of the Keeway/QJ Motor Group and is one of the cheapest V-twin cruisers on the market. Although it is cheap for what it is, there are still a few other cruisers made by Chinese who offer more value.

Engine type | V-twin, liquid cooled |
Displacement | 476cc |
Maximum torque | 31 LB-FT |
Transfer | 6-speed gearbox |
Weight | 473 pounds |
Motorcycle Morini Caliber 700
MSRP: $ 5,999
The Calibro uses a strived version of an old Ninja 650 engine, which is both mechanically reliable and powerful for its class. It makes a pretty decent argument in terms of value. ABS is a standard function, just like the passenger seat. Although Moto Morini is a Chinese company, the bike is at least designed in Italy, and that can be seen. Of all the budget -friendly cruisers, this is perhaps the most beautiful.

Weight | 443 pounds |
CFMoto 450CL-C
MSRP: $ 5,799
You could easily claim that the Honda Rebel 500 simply and “paying the man” for the extra seat would be the safe option in this room. But even the Rebel 500 basic model costs more than this, and so far this 450 engine – of CFMoto’s own design – has proved to be quite reliable. Like almost everything that CFMoto has to offer, it has a long list of functions, including a tasty TFT dashboard and belt drive.
