Alisson – Stay fit in the last year of his contract
Liverpool have an option to extend Alisson’s contract for another year this summer, which is a no-brainer, but nothing would be better than the Brazilian staying fit throughout.
He will go down in history as one of, if not Liverpool’s best, and as we don’t want to face the reality of life without him, it’s time he stays fit so we see as much of him as possible.
Giorgi Mamardashvili – Improve distribution
Alisson’s injuries meant Mamardashvili always had opportunities in his debut season, but in those games we saw areas of his game need improvement, including his distribution.
Things started to improve when his teammates realized he was left-footed, but he still needs to improve.
Conor Bradley – Stay injury free

Season after season, several injuries have plagued Bradley’s season, and his record could mean Liverpool have to venture back into the transfer market.
The right-back has shown what he is capable of on the biggest stages, but the Reds need to be able to rely on him consistently, which cannot be said of him.
Staying fit is the key.
Jeremy Frimpong – Availability
Like his fellow full-back, Frimpong could do with a consistent, injury-free run to consolidate a place in the team – and inject the pace the Reds have long needed.
He has shown potential, but if you can rely on him, there will be more dynamics on the right side of the field.
Joe Gomez – Score that goal!

This will be on our and his New Year’s resolutions list for a number of years, but there’s nothing more any of us could want than to celebrate Gomez’s first professional goal.
In more than 300 senior club and international appearances he has never found the back of the net. Imagine if he’s the one to win us a trophy this season, the scenes!
Virgil van Dijk – Maintain the standards
Van Dijk made history in 2025 by becoming the first Dutchman to win the Premier League title and showed his exemplary leadership qualities in incredibly difficult moments.
He sets the standards that you hope will leave a lasting impression on the club long after he has left, and the standards he sets, both on and off the pitch, will be key to a successful 2026.
Ibrahima Konate – Sign the contract

Some of Konate’s performances may have raised questions about whether Liverpool should renew a long-term contract, but the club cannot accept losing a player for free at the age of 26.
Sign the contract, Ibou.
Milos Kerkez – Completely relax

It hasn’t been an easy transition for the 22-year-old, but the more he feels at home at the club and in his new city, the more it will show on the pitch.
Liverpool wouldn’t have signed him if they didn’t see potential and that he could fit in; he must remember that.
Andy Robertson – Evidence experience is irreplaceable
Liverpool signed his successor in the summer and he has played fewer minutes as a result, but his experience and leadership are also invaluable.
A free agent in the summer, Robertson must continue to prove he is irreplaceable if he is to extend his stay at Anfield. He is a necessary voice in the locker room, they are not easy to find!
Wataru Endo – On to an important summer
Endo has played just 223 minutes this season and is currently sidelined due to injury, which has already had a knock-on effect on his playing time with Japan.
With the World Cup just around the corner in the summer and Slot unlikely to change his mind on Japan’s captain, Endo must either intervene in the Dutchman’s plans or find a way to move in January.
However, the latter does not benefit the Reds’ selection!
Florian Wirtz – Ignore the outside noise

We all know that Wirtz’s numbers would be a lot higher if his teammates were finishing the chances he created, but Liverpool supporters don’t need to be told that.
He has grown bigger and started to show that he can play matches, and he must forget what the critics say and concentrate on improving his fitness and the numbers will come, as well as the silence of those who doubt him.
Dominik Szoboszlai – Don’t change anything

To be honest, there isn’t one thing Szoboszlai needs to change. Just stay the way you are, Dom.
Alexis Mac Allister – Win the World Cup again
Winning trophies with Liverpool evidently comes first, but few players get the chance to win back-to-back World Cups, and Macca is now one of them.
Argentina have a decent chance of defending their title, and Liverpool’s number 10 will be key to that, hopefully after winning the European Cup with the Reds!
Curtis Jones – Consolidate a place in the XI

Jones has started more games this season than he has yet, but his aim will be to consolidate a place in the starting XI, and that will come through consistent performance week in, week out.
Ryan Gravenberch – Thrive with competition

This is banking on Liverpool signing competition for the Dutchman in the summer, but you would expect that to happen, and Gravenberch must embrace it and thrive.
He currently knows he will be in the XI when fit and the extra competition should improve not only his performances but Liverpool as a whole.
Alexander Isak – Return to full fitness and start scoring
It is far from the start to life at Liverpool that Isak had dreamed of when he signed a record-breaking contract, but the aim will now be to make a statement after his broken leg.
Only three goals so far, but we know he is capable of much more. Imagine if he were to return to the business end of the Champions League, that could deliver the big moment we’ve all been craving.
Mo Salah – Win a trophy

Salah has no shortage of that, but if this is to be his final season at the club, what better way to send him off than with another piece of silverware.
He’s one of the best we’ve seen. It’s a good thing we can celebrate together one last time, if it’s the last time…
Cody Gakpo – Add more momentum to the arsenal
We all know him loves a cutback on the right foot and then a shot on target, but it’s time to add some more dynamism and unpredictability.
Kerkez would appreciate it too.
Federico Chiesa – Show his worth
It hasn’t exactly been easy for Chiesa at Anfield, with Slot showing little confidence in creating chances.
He’s at a crossroads and he may move on this summer, but we’ll all want to see him prove his worth again, whether that’s at Liverpool or another club – but not before we get more reasons to celebrate with him first!
Hugo Ekitike – Keep hitting the goals

It was quite a start to life at Liverpool for the Frenchman, who quickly won over the supporters and scored important goals. It’s made to embrace the big moments.
We want more of it in 2026, a lot more.
