A three-year-old mother was left seriously ill in the hospital after a knock-off and illegal ‘botox’ treatment of an aesthetic beautician.
Kaylie Bailey, 36, from Peterlee, in County Durham, paid £ 75 for three ‘botox’ injections of Gemma Gray – which was half of what it cost for an earlier visit.
‘Botox’ is the most recognized brand of dust botulinumtoxin that is usually used to paralyze facial muscles with the aim of reducing wrinkles.
Within a few days of receiving the bargain treatment, she suddenly started to struggle to see, reported, reported The BBC.
Initially doctors in the Sunderland Royal Hospital, made her the diagnosis of the eye condition -ptosis – that is when the upper eyelid snacks are hanging – and told her to rest before she sent her home.
According to the hospital confidence, doctors told her that it was probably related to the beauty treatment she had had, and advised to see a doctor if her symptoms deteriorated.
But in the following days her condition deteriorated, so she was brought back to the hospital where she was told that she had botulism.
This is a paralysis that tries bacterial infection that can cause muscle paralysis, breathing difficulties and even death.
The mother is one of the now 28 other people with the diagnosis of poisonous poisoning after getting anti-wrinkle injections in Northeast England, according to the BBC.
A woman was left to fight in the hospital for her life after she had an illegal type of ‘botox’ injection
Because of her serious condition, she spent three days in intensive care and was treated with an anti-toxin.
At some point the young mother stopped breathing and had to be resuscitated by Medici.
“I remember lying on the bed and thought,” I die here, and I don’t want it, “she said through tears, told her experience to the BBC.
This has risen from 14 reports of serious eyelid snacks, double vision, problems with swallowing, unclear speech and lethargy, earlier this month.
While they are still being investigated by the British health security agency, it is assumed that the reactions after aesthetic treatments are linked to botulism.
In the response of the hospital confidence to the BBC, they added that botulinum toxicity is an incredibly rare condition “that most doctors have not seen during their career.”
Since he was released from the hospital, Bailey has had to wear an eye spot, which is a constant memory of the traumatic test.

Mrs. Gray accused of using an illegal type of botulinum toxin, called toxpia
After returning home, she contacted the beautician who administered the ‘Botox’ Mrs. Gray, whom she told her it was a ‘national problem with the product’.
Mrs. Gray, previously known as Gemma Brown, runs her business Belissimo -Eesthetics, from her house near Bishop Auckland and in a salon in Blackhall – and advertises it as ‘fully trained and assured’.
But it is important to note that this is not linked to other companies with the same name.
The BBC reported that it has called an illegal type of botulinum toxin, TOXPIA, to a number of patients.
This product from South Korea has no license for use in the UK and it is a crime to sell or deliver it, according to the regulatory body of medicines and health care.
But Mrs. Gray said customers that it was a ‘new type of botox’ and charged between £ 75 and £ 1000 for three treatment areas.
It is also understood by the BBC that she has sold the Topxia to another aesthetic practitioner who gave it to customers who fell ill.
The mother said: ‘When I went inside (for the anti-wrinkle Jab appointment), I felt that she hurr so much that it was putting it, my eyes were there so much.
‘I can’t believe it even dared to do that with people. She didn’t even know what was in it and we have to live with what she did to us. I almost died as a result. ‘

Paula Harrison who also ended up in the hospital after the treatment of the beautician
She is not the only person who had a serious reaction after a treatment by the beautician.
Paula Harrison, 54, also had a response after a visit to Mrs. Gray in a salon in Blackhall, Co Durham at the end of May, the BBC reported.
The 54-year-old had previously been to the beautician for a lip filling procedure, so went back for what she thought Botox and Under-Eye was Filler.
After a few days, mother of three was also unwell told the BBC that her throat closed and she could not eat.
So she went to Sunderland Hospital, where she had to stay four days to get an anti-toxin treatment.
Mrs. Gray said Mrs. Harrison that it was a ‘new treatment treatment’ and that she was destroyed, the BBC reported.
‘(Mrs Gray) plays with people’s lives. Fortunately I am fine, but I could have been dead, “said Mrs. Harrison.
The BBC contacted Mrs. Gray to give her a chance to answer the allegations, but she refused to comment.
However, she told customers that she regretted what happened and described badly to feel sick.
