Massachusetts 17-year-old shot and killed in New Hampshire

A 17-year-old from Massachusetts was shot and killed in New Hampshire on Wednesday morning, the authorities announced.

Christian Walker of Orange, Massachusetts, died after he had been shot in the belly in Keene, NH, said the office of the attorney general in a statement. Walker was found in a parking lot on Winchester Street per law enforcement that responded to a 9-1-1 phone call, said the agency of the AG. He was transferred to the Cheshire Medical Center where he was declared dead at 1:49 am

The AG’s office said that an autopsy was determined Walker on a single shot wound on his belly and that the way of his death was murder.

“Although the exact circumstances around the shooting remain under active research, all parties involved have been identified and there is currently no known threat to the general public,” officials said in a statement.

The research, which is being conducted by the AG office, the State Police and the Keene police, is underway.
