FBI launches Task Force to resolve violent Tesla attacks, to limit threats

The FBI has launched a task force on Monday to combat violent Tesla attacks, FOX News Digital has learned.

The FBI Task Force was founded in combination with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and will coordinate the research activity.

Fox News Digital has learned that in recent weeks of vandalism, arson and targeted shootings against Tesla vehicles, dealers and charging stations have been throughout the country.

A well -known source told Fox News Digital that there has been no connection between people involved in the series of arson incidents at Tesla dealers and properties and online groups have been developed.

Since 1 March 2025, the FBI has received 48 “guardians” with regard to Tesla violence, criminal activity and threatening communication, FOX News Digital has learned. Assess Guardians based on terrorism -based incidents.

The FBI is investigating, in combination with federal, national and local law enforcement partners – with seven pending full arson investigations.

“Director Patel has been unambiguously clear: the FBI will be ruthless in his mission to protect the American people,” said a spokesperson for the FBI. “Acts of violence, vandalism and domestic terrorism – such as the recent Tesla attacks – will be pursued with the full power of the law.”

With regard to the Task Force, a threat label has been made on the FBI to streamline reports and an assignment post has been made at the FBI head office. It consists of a joint FBI/ATF task force to reduce that threat flow.
