With countless Coronation Street characters who have been arrested and imprisoned in recent weeks, it makes a change for one to be released, but that is exactly what will happen next week.
Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) has served a prison sentence for several months for his role in the murder of Mason Radcliffe.
Mason was killed by his brothers, who put him down after Dylan brought a knife into their fight.
In the STC, Dylan was tormented by Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey), who has since been released and is currently just behind Coronation Street.
For fear of the safety of his son, Sean Tully (Anthony Cotton) confronts Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty) and warns her that Dylan is released the next day and does not want any problems from Brody.
Back on the street, Dylan Sean convinces to take him for a quiet lunch in the cafe, instead of the celebration in the bistro he had planned.

When Brody wanders into the cafe, Sean Dylan promises that he will protect him – but Dylan warns that it is Brody who should look at his back …
When Dylan later follows Brody in the Ginnel, what is he planning to do?
Later in the week, Dylan is rejecting when Sean informs him that his university has agreed to have him back.

When he sees Brody who was in Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) before shopping with the police after he bragged her over the stealing of Wodka from the store, Dylan comes to the rescue.
Dylan has taken a step to her with Brody to protect her? Could it be set to get violent landing one or both boys back in the STC?
Viewers will know that Betsy and Dylan, before his process, shared a kiss this could be set to cause a more long-term romance between them both?
