Live: West India vs Australia Day-Night Test in Kingston
2nd about: S. Joseph opens from the other end
Solid morning for both Khawaja and Konstas.
Shamar Joseph opens from the Courtney Walsh End and he is quirky to start. Far too wide and Khawaja is shoulder arms.
And again.
Of course, the last time Australia played the West India under light, Shamar was electric and led his side to an unlikely victory in the Gabba in 2024.
1st about: Seales takes the new ball
It is a beautiful sight, blue skies and ocean frame a sun -drenched Sabina Park.
Stamps – which looked so dangerous in the series – starts around the wicket to the left -handed Khawaja, who is immediately over the goal that pushes for a single in the side.
Konstas speaks one forward and he is also on the board. Fair amount of swing for seals there.
This merges with Khawaja! And the use of the angle makes it very uncomfortable when he wears one on the hull.
Khawaja works one of the toes for a single to successfully end a successful over.
Anthems are sung
As with every test in the West India, we are treated to three musical songs to open them.
The classic of all time that is Rally ‘around the West Indies, completing the pre-match procedures, and we are not far from playing.
We just have a quick glance at the field, which is invoiced as a little more than what we saw in Grenada and Barbados.
Australia’s first overseas pink Baltest
They are now a mainstay of the Australian Test Summer, but day/night tests have not started entirely internationally in the same way.
This third test is Australia’s first pink ball match away from home and the second West -India will have hosted in the format.
It is also the day/night debut of Sabina Park.
Mitchell Starc with a pink ball
‘Really special’: Starc hits 100 tests
Solid performance of the left-arm strike bowler.
This is what he had to say about becoming the second fast bowler to play 100 tests for Australia.
West -India puts the former captain after a milestone match
Only the once change for Australia, but a very host for West -India, including the opposite of their opponent’s call with Spinner Jomel Warrican recalled after missing the second test. Anderson Phillip gets the ax.
They also have Kraigg Brathwaite, the former captain who played his 100th test last week, and Kacy Carty.
They have been replaced Mikyle Louisarrive for his 10th test, and Kevlon Andersonmentioned for debut at number three.
West -India XI: Mikyle Louis, John Campbell, Kevlon Anderson, Brandon King, Shai Hope, Roston Chase, Justin Greaves, Jomel Warrican, Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, Jayden Seales
Starc Vecht his way to greatness
10 years ago, few Mitchell Starc would have predicted to play 100 test matches for Australia.
But here we are, at the point of his milestone test – to be played with the pink ball.
What happened in the second test?
Australia won the second test in Grenada with 133 runs to keep the Frank Worrell -Trophy for the 14th series in a row.
Just like in the second test, the West -India really threatened to make a game of things for a large part of the meeting before they were blown away in the last innings of the competition.
Contributions of 63 and 30 were enough to earn Alex Carey Player-of-the-match awards.
Australia wins the throw and will omit Bat, Nathan Lyon

Australia goes with a bowling attack with this pink ball, so that off-spinner Nathan Lyon is left out of the test team in favor of Scott Boland.
It is an interesting phone call given that Beau Webster has done as good work as the fourth sailor lately, but maybe they will call him (and Travis Head) for a finger release.
It is the first time that Lyon has missed a test since he tore his calf in the second game of the Ashes of 2023 and could not close the series in England.
The XI is otherwise the same: Usman Khawaja, Sam Konstas, Cameron Green, Steve Smith, Travis Head, Beau Webster, Alex Carey, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Scott Boland
Hello and welcome to this series final
Good morning and hello for all our readers who are there when we kick off the last test of this West India-Australia series.
I am Jon Healy and I was accompanied by Henry Hanson for a historic day point in Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica.
It marks the first time that Australia has played a pink-ball test from home and should be an exciting conclusion of this game.
Stay around to follow every moment!
