Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi On Monday (May 19, 2025), Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma dared to form two sentences – one to inquire about Mr Gogois, behavior and another to reveal the “past” and “assets” of the CM existing person.

By addressing a press conference here, Mr. Gogoi said that people from Assam deserve to know the truth.

“Set two sits by September 10 – one to investigate me and the other to investigate the Chief Minister’s past and his assets. Let the people of Assam decide,” he said.

Mr. Gogoi said that Sits must also be established to investigate other issues, such as the death of police officer Junmoni Rabha and a colens syndicate that is reportedly operated in Assam.

“The people of Assam deserve to know the truth. Let justice prevail,” he said.

Mr. Gogoi hit back in Sarma after he claimed that the Congresseider Pakistan visited at an invitation from his espionage agency Isi, and that he worked closely with the establishment of the neighboring nation.

‘Tame Legacy or Tarun Gogoi’

The deputy leader of the congress in Lok Sabha accused Mr Sarma of it to deliver the legacy of his deceased father, former Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.

“The actual intention of the SIT basic set is to affect the legacy of Tarun Gogoi. They are now even focusing on his grandchildren. But I am his son, I am not afraid,” he said.

Mr. Gogoi claimed that the Chief Minister had repeatedly made misleading statements and “failed” to remain in his words.

“Yesterday, after my statement, he seemed visibly agitated. He often talks about deduction, but never follows. During the Lok Sabha elections of 2009, he promised to resign as the congress candidate Madhab Rajbongshi, but he did not do it, although Rajbongshi lost the polls more than a thousand. ”

Mr. Gogoi claimed that Mr. Sarma had made personal attacks on him and had branded him as an ‘ISI agent’.

“Is it even possible to visit Pakistan without the knowledge of the Indian government?” he asked.

Referring to a article written by him and published in a magazine in 2021, Mr. Gogoi said he wrote in the play how Pakistan tried to focus India through terror networks during the pandemic.

“This book is proof of my opinion about Pakistan,” he said.

Mr. Gogoi also asked for Mr Sarma’s own foreign visits and wondered if he ever revealed what places he visited during his journey in Bangladesh.
