The 125th edition of the US Open starts today, June 12, in Oakmont Country Club. With a stacked field of 156 players, fans and celebrities have shared their choices for the winner of the US Open 2025.

The official Instagram account of the PGA Tour shared a carousel of eight screenshots, which showed answers from various celebrities asked to choose their US Open 2025 favorite. The post was credited:

“Slid in some DMs …

The first answer came from the American actor Glen Powell, who answered:

“My boy Scottie Scheffler.”

Powell, known for its roles in Everyone except you And Hitmanhas a reported net value of $ 12 million according to the capacity of celebrities.

Scottie Scheffler received the most famous support for the US Open 2025. Actor and comedian Will Arnett responded by writing:

“I mean … it must be scottie, no?”

Tennis Pro Taylor Fritz also chose the world no. 1 and said:

Scottie Scheffler enters the US Open in top form. He has won three of his last four starts and 16 total PGA Tour events. He claimed the PGA championship in May, his third big title, but still chases his first US Open victory.

Twilight actor Taylor Lautner also supported Thomas, writing:

Thomas, in 5th place in the OWGR, has two big wins (both PGA championships) and 16 career victories. He recently won the RBC heritage and this year has six top 10s in 13 starts.

Former NBA player Blake Griffin called the Swedish golfer Ludvig Åberg as his choice to win the US Open, write,

“Give me ludvig to the moon!”

In the meantime, actor Charlie Day went with veteran Rocco Mediate, who has 11 career victories, including six on the PGA Tour and five on the PGA Tour champions. Mediate is currently in 91st place in the Schwab Cup classification.

The players are set to get rid of two starting holes, no. 1 and no. 10, starting at 6.45 am (ET).
