Madison Square Garden will play a historic game again this weekend while Richardson Hitchins and George Kambosos Jr. Look to arrange their differences between the ropes.
The 12-round affair will take place in the early hours of Sunday morning in the UK, because Hitchins defends his IBF-Light Welterweight title for the first time.
Hitchins, 28, comes into the bag unbeaten in 19 professional fights, although he has only won seven times with KO. He won the previous time-out through a split decision after he had gone the distance with the Liam Paro of Australia in Puerto Rico, taking the title IBF Light-Light-Light-Light title home.
He will defend that belt this weekend while for the first time he was Kambosos Jr. meet. The 31-year-old is the more experienced competition, who has introduced 25 fights and has won 22.
The couple has exchanged choice words in the structure of the fight. Hitchins labeled Kambosos a ‘D-class’ hunter the week before the fight and added: “Every time he fights, he comes out of the ring more than he came in.”
He is determined to defend his hometown New York: “He will have to kill me. He must show me that he is a gangster. I will show him where I come from.”
Kambosos reacted to the same extent and promised a decisive victory ‘ [Hitchins’] own backyard ‘.
“Hitchins is not at my level,” he said. “I don’t have to lose s ***. You’ve never been in the ring with someone near George Kambosos Jr.”

Hitchins vs Kambosos Jr. Prediction
Although Kambosos Jr. A significant experience advantage has prior to this fight, he can meet his match against Hitchins.
He is an inch shorter than the American, four years older and remains in the world ranking.
Although he is generally more likely to manage a knockout, the form of Hitchins suggests that he will not roll over. Now that defending the biggest title of his career so far and fighting just a few miles from where he grew up, the Jager born in Brooklyn certainly has the high ground.
But Kambosos learned from the best – he sparkled with Manny Pacquiao in the early days of his career – and was around the block. He will take revenge after losing the IBO light weight title to Vasiliy Lomachenko in May last year.
Expect this competition to go the full distance, with Hitchins a narrow point win.
