Turner-De Oude Loyal to the Indiana Pacers voted with a four-year-old deal to become a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, who abandoned the nine times All-Star in Lillard to make the acquisition happen, a person with knowledge of the movements of the Associated Press told.

Turner agrees to a deal that ends with a player option, after he had spent the whole of his first 10 seasons with the Pacers, who went to the NBA Finals last season. And the remaining $ 112.6 million to Lillard will be paid out in the coming five seasons via the NBA stretch facility, according to the person who spoke with the AP on condition of anonymity because neither movement was announced by the clubs involved.

ESPN, which the plan reported by the Pacers and Bucks for the first time, said Turner agreed with a contract worth $ 107 million.

Lillard will probably miss most, if not all, of the coming season. He will be free to sign with everyone he chooses, and teams can now simply sign him, give him the opportunity to continue his recovery and to do this with hope that the seven-fold all-nba selection is completely ready to go at the beginning of the 2026-27 season.

“This is an opportunity for Damian to stay at home to continue his rehabilitation, to take the time to decide where he wants to play, while he is still being paid for his entire contract,” said Lillard’s agent, Aaron Goodwin.
