Russia launched more than 400 drones and dozens of rockets at Kyiv, in which at least ten people were killed and injured many others, while the negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow break down.
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zenskyy described the last barrage, which took place on Tuesday, local time, as ‘one of the most gruesome attacks’ on Kyiv since the Kremlin launched his brutal invasion of Ukraine more than three years ago.
Mr. Zenskyy said that a total of 440 drones and 32 rockets were launched in the national strikes and insisted on the international community to “close an eye”.
“President Vladimir Putin only does this because he can afford to continue the war. He wants the war to take place,” he said.
AFP journalists saw smoke at the dawn over the skyline of the capital and a several floors housing block that are eroded by the attack.

Rescue workers clambed to find survivors who were buried under the rubble.
“It was probably the hellish night in my memory for our neighborhood,” the 20-year-old student Alina Shtompel told AFP.
“It is indescribably painful that our people are going through this now.”

Tymur Tkachenko, the head of the military administration of Kyiv, updated an earlier toll of 14 dead, and said that two people had been pulled out of the rubble at the place of one strike.

One person was also killed and 10 injured in the southern port city of Odesa, while attacks in the Sumy and Kherson regions later in the day killed two others, the authorities said.

Noord -Korea sending thousands of military workers to Russia
The Russian state media have reported that North Korea will send thousands of military construction workers and deceler to the support of reconstruction work in the Russian region of Kursk, another sign of growing military cooperation between the two nations.

Tens of thousands of soldiers have been killed on both sides since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, according to independent monitors and Western intelligence services.
Russian armed forces have steadily fallen over the vast front line, even since Mr Trump’s inauguration brought an increase in American efforts to stop fighting.
