Democratic senator Alex Padilla of California said that he has serious questions for Kristi Name after secret service and FBI agents have violated him on the ground and fascinated him after trying to ask the Homeland Security’s secretary during a press conference in Los Angeles.

Padilla was not arrested or accused of crimes. But he later said that the incident shows how easily federal agents can treat other people without official government titles.

The incident with Padilla is not the only time that the Trump government has escalated situations with democratic legislators.

Last week, Rep. Lamonica Mciver from New Jersey sued federal charges that accuses the Democratic representative of interfering with immigration officers outside a detention center in her state.
