Wales is confronted with Rock-Bottom Liechtenstein in a qualifying match J Fifa World Cup Group J.
Victory will see Wales the top of the qualification group J if the result of North Macedonia against Belgium can improve.
Team news
Wales has no worries for new injuries to report that this competition will be in this competition, with a full team available for selection as a defender – Ronan Kpakio is looking for his first senior international cap.
Liechtenstein also has a full team available for selection.
When is the kick -off?
Wales host Liechtenstein in Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff, on Friday, June 6 at 7:45 PM BST, live on BBC One Wales, BBC Three and BBC IPLayer in the UK.
Scale
- Wales won 4-0 in their only earlier friendly against Liechtenstein in November 2006 and was unbeaten to their opponents in all competitions (W3).
- Liechtenstein lost both earlier visits to Wales in all competitions without scoring (L2), after lost 4-0 in a friendly in November 2006 and then 2-0 in October 2008.
- Three of the four goals from Wales in their two qualifications so far came in this group after the break (W1, D1).
- Liechtenstein has admitted five goals in their two qualifications without an answer (L2).
Prediction
After he bravely fought for a deserved 1-1 draw to Northern Macedonia with a final Gap comeback goal, Wales must now count these opportunities and be more clinical because a victory would probably put them top, because I cannot see North Macedonia beat Belgium.
In the meantime, Liechtenstein has no real chance to reach the qualification of the World Cup, but after having admitted five goals in two games, this is just a game where they are lucky to get a point if they can dig defensively and keep Wales still.
However, I don’t see that happening, because if Wales can stay put together and the game can dominate, their undefeated start will certainly continue under Craig Bellamy.
Prediction: Wales 2-0 Liechtenstein
