Etcherla-BJP MLA N. Eswara Rao urged all BJP leaders and activists to mobilize the maximum number of people for the Mega Yoga program that was organized under the Banner of Yogandhra-2015 on Visakhapatnam on 21 June, International Yoga Day.
About 30,000 people from the Etcherla constituency will participate in the program in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also practice yoga, together with five Lakh people on the day.
Speaking with the media in Ranasthalam in the Srikakulam district, Mr Eswara Rao said that the Prime Minister played an important role in the recognition of the International Yogadag by the United Nations in 2015. In the past 10 years, the culture of Yoga has not only spread in urban areas, but also in the rural and tribale regions.
Mr. Eswara Rao, who has been practicing yoga since 1985, said that people who practice yoga every day lead a healthy and happy life. “Yogandhra-2025 is a historical event. With more than five Lakh people who want to perform yoga together, the event is ready to get worldwide attention and probably also to set a world record.
