Woman winds racial blemish on two black men sparks city -wide reaction

The video led to a response from city officials in the midst of their own history of leadership with racist missteps.


A viral tap of a woman who winds a racial lubrication to two black men in Healdburg, California, has resulted in a city -wide answer.

The video showed the woman who screamed against the two black men about their moving truck that blocked her driveway. After putting back to her car after her tirade, one of the drivers told her that a “simple” question would have worked.

“I think a simple ‘you can please move your truck’ it would have had enough,” said the man who took the video.

Instead of following his advice, however, the woman was told that he called him the N word. Although apparently not surprised about her racist lack of respect, the driver noted that he caught the attack on the camera.

“Haha, good. Glad I recorded that,” the man laughed.

Although the woman drove away from the stage, the effect of her racial blemish in the Bay Area. City officials in Healdburg caught the wind of the incident, because it achieved more than 2 million views on Tiktok.

Headsburg Mayor Evelyn Mitchell told The Press democrat that she found the test “Terrible.” She also stated that the woman’s behavior goes ‘against everything’ that the city stands for.

“As a mayor, and as an old member of this community, I know how hard we have worked to build a hospitable and inclusive city,” said Mitchell in the E -mail.

However, the leadership of the city was attacked for how it has previously treated racial tension. After the matte response from the previous mayor in the midst of the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020, city officials developed the diversity, fairness and inclusion plan of Healdburg.

The city had implemented on dei-oriented strategies to create and improve the programming of community achievement. However, this latter instance of racism has thought the city if there has really been change.

Mitchell added: “There is no room for racism or hatred here, and I am committed to doing my bit to ensure that every person in Healdsburg feels safe, respected and appreciated,” she said.

Since the return, the woman has also apologized for the use of the racial blemish. She told Kron4 she took Extreme steps To protect its identity in the midst of intimidation and death threats. Allegedly she painted her purple and removed her social media accounts because of the criticism.

“I’m sorry for what I said. I’m sorry I wanted to hurt (the movers), but it’s not because I am a terrible person, it’s because I recently had it,” she explained.

However, the truck driver told the news exit that he had previously treated racism on this scale while he was working. The local NAACP branch of Healdsburg, which supervises the whole of Santa Rosa-Sonoma County, still has to release a statement.
